About Us
Since 1991, Seymour Alternative Farming Expo has grown into the most successful alternative farming expo in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the best in the world.
Each year, over three days in February, more than 550 exhibitors present the world's best agricultural technology for a general audience of between 45,000-55,000 visitors including farming professionals and members of the general public.
Seymour Alternative Farming Expo is a massive outdoor supermarket for leading edge farm machinery, products and services from Australia and around the world and showcases Australia's unique engineered and technical solutions to the challenges of farming on one of the world's driest continents.
The technology at Seymour Alternative Farming Expo each year embraces advances in agronomy, animal husbandry and bio-genetics through to the data processing and communications hardware and software necessary for the efficient management of major new agricultural enterprises and includes displays of "Alternative" stock such as emus, ostrich and alpaca.
The Alternative Farming Expo is located on a superbly laid out site at Kings park in Tallarook St, Seymour. The park boasts broad display avenues and parking.
