Seymour Agricultural & Pastoral Society Are Back Again

Seymour Agricultural and Pastoral Society will once again be returning to the Seymour Alternative Farming Expo with their popular hands-on demonstrations and presentations.  A team of volunteers from the Agricultural Society, including local veterinarians and experienced primary producers, along with a long list of guest presenters will be on hand to entertain and inform you.  We will have something for everyone, whether you have a backyard in town or a large commercial property or anything in between.  You can see alpaca being shorn, cattle having their feet trimmed, local wildlife, normal and abnormal horses’ feet and much more.  You can learn about cattle diseases and calving, better pastures for your stock, fruit and vegetable production, poultry production and more.  If you want to stay for a presentation, or if you just want to share a drink and a chat with our members and guests, be sure to drop in.
